28th Annual Gala Photos

November 15, 2019 - THANK YOU for your support of our 28th annual gala! Were you there? We held our annual gala on Saturday evening, November 9, at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich. Guests enjoyed cocktails and dinner, watched a short film about The Inner-City Foundation's good works, listened to a panel discussion with Bridgeport's Kolbe Cathedral High School students and alumni, participated in a live auction, and then danced the night away with the famous Beatles cover band The Fab Faux. Inner-City Foundation Announces Grant Awards

The Inner-City Foundation for Charity & Education announced their most recent grant awards totaling $80,000 to 8 local Fairfield County programs and organizations. Grant awardees include organizations and programs providing education and/or social services, including: Catholic Charities of Fairfield County; Character Connection Initiative; Child and Family Guidance Center, Bridgeport; Filling in the Blanks, Inc.; Inspirica, Inc.; New Reach, Inc.; Shepherds, Inc.; and Stamford Center for the Arts ... Year End Giving

December, 2019 - Thank you for your support and commitment to The Inner-City Foundation and our mission to serve and empower needy and at-risk children and families in Fairfield County, especially in its inner cities. In the last year we have granted more than $750,000 to local programs serving the needy, including close to $500,000 to schools and childhood education programs; $130,000 to food, shelter and clothing programs; $70,000 to adult education programs; and almost $50,000 to mental health programs, a need that we have seen increase dramatically in the last year ...
