Emmy-nominated PBS-TV host and interior designer Holly Holden will be the keynote speaker at a luncheon to benefit The Inner-City Foundation for Charity & Education on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, 11:30 - 2pm at The Belle Haven Club in Greenwich.  The event is open to the public, tickets and tables can be purchased at

Often referred to as “The Grande Dame of Interior Design,” Holly is an Emmy-nominated television host of the PBS television series You Are Cordially Invited, featuring masterpiece, privately owned homes. As the host and executive producer, Holly created episodes at Highclere Castle (the real Downton Abbey) with Lady Carnarvon, and at Blenheim Palace with Lady Henrietta Spencer Churchill.  Holly’s talk at the Inner-City Foundation luncheon will take guests behind the scenes at both of these very special television shoots, highlighting the decorating nuances in these grand palace residences that make a house a classic home.

In addition to television host and producer, Holly is an ASID Allied Member who has been designing classic, old-school interiors for thirty years.  Her interior design firm, Holly Holden & Company, Ltd., has served clients across the United States and internationally.  Her work has been presented on PBS and HGTV, in national magazines, and in several prestigious Show Houses.

Holly’s first book, “The Pretty & Proper Living Room” was released in 2013, and she is presently working on her new book, “Holly Holden’s Palm Beach Interiors.”  Holly's gracious style and timeless, understated interiors inside her Farmington, CT house, Fox Hall c.1803, were showcased in “The Great Houses of New England” (Rizzoli, 2008).  The gardens at Fox Hall were documented for the Smithsonian Archives of American Gardens.
